Garrison Brown, the 25 Year-old son of ‘Sister Wives’ stars Janelle and Kody Brown, has passed away.

Garrison Brown, recognized from the popular TLC reality show “Sister Wives” and son of the show’s stars Janelle and Kody Brown, tragically passed away at his home in Flagstaff, Arizona, at the age of 25. The news was shared by his mother, Janelle Brown, on Instagram, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of their “beautiful boy, Robert Garrison Brown,” whose presence brought joy to everyone around him. She described his passing as leaving an irreplaceable void in their lives and requested privacy for the family while they grieve and honor his memory.

According to a statement by Flagstaff Police to Variety, Garrison’s death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, marking a somber end to the young man’s life. Garrison had been a part of “Sister Wives” since its debut in 2010, which documented his father’s polygamous lifestyle in Utah. Kody Brown, Garrison’s father, has multiple wives, with Janelle being one of them until their divorce last year.

Garrison’s journey on the show saw him grow from a child into a young adult with aspirations of serving in the military. Although he initially aimed to join the Army, Garrison ultimately enlisted in the National Guard. Following the pandemic, he moved out of his parents’ home to live independently.

TLC, the network behind “Sister Wives,” expressed its devastation upon learning of Garrison’s death. In a statement, a spokesperson conveyed the network’s deepest sympathies and condolences to the Brown family during this profoundly challenging period.

Janelle and Kody Brown, who entered into a spiritual marriage in 1993, share six children together: Madison, Logan, Garrison, Gabriel, Hunter, and Savanah. The separation between Janelle and Kody was announced in December 2022, marking the end of their long-standing union.

Over time, the relationship between Kody and his children became noticeably strained, a development that Janelle reflected on with concern, especially regarding the impact on her sons’ mental health. She observed that while Gabriel is highly sensitive and reserved, Garrison appeared increasingly unhappy, a stark contrast to his previously cheerful demeanor.

In an episode aired in May 2023, Kody acknowledged the growing divide between him and his children, expressing hope that with time, they might reconcile and move past their current estrangement.

Garrison Brown’s untimely departure has undoubtedly left a profound impact on his family, friends, and fans of “Sister Wives.” As the Brown family mourns the loss of Garrison, they remember him as a source of light in their lives and call for privacy as they navigate through this difficult time.
